This page explains what information we collect when you visit usrealestatemadesimple.com or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Real Estate Made Simple is operated by AQC Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we" and "us"). We make illustrated study guides for the real estate salesperson licensing exam. You can reach us at info@usrealestatemadesimple.com.
What we collect
When you buy. Your name, email address, and billing details, including your billing address so we can work out any sales tax. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We also set up a library for you, where you can sign in with a link sent to your email and download your books again anytime.
When you email us. Your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
When you visit the site. Our website host (Cloudflare) records basic technical information, like your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure. If you arrive from an ad or a link that carries campaign tags (for example "utm_source"), we pass those tags to our checkout so we can tell which ads lead to orders.
Advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API, tools from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to measure how our ads perform. The pixel uses cookies and similar technology to record things like which pages you view and whether you start checkout, along with information about your device and browser. When you buy, our checkout may also send Meta details of the purchase (such as its value) together with your email address or other contact details in scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match the purchase to an ad. Meta may connect this with information it already has about you, under Meta’s own privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/).
How visitors use the page. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use our website, through heatmaps, scroll depth, and session replays. Clarity uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling. It does not record what you type into form fields. Microsoft processes this information as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement (https://www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement).
How we use it
- To email you your download links, give you access to your library, and send your receipt.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds.
- To understand which ads and pages work and improve the website, so we can show the books to people who may want them.
- To keep records we need for taxes and accounting.
If we ever email you about anything other than your order, like study tips or a new book, every one of those emails will have an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that help us run the business: Stripe for payments, Resend for sending order and sign-in emails, Google for our email inbox, Cloudflare for website hosting, Microsoft for website analytics, and Meta for ad measurement as described above. We don’t sell your personal information for money.
How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as we need it to deliver your purchase, handle refunds and support, and meet tax and accounting rules. We keep support emails only as long as they’re useful for helping you.
Your choices
- See, fix, or delete your information. Email info@usrealestatemadesimple.com and we’ll help. Some states give you additional privacy rights, and we’ll honor those requests too.
- Ads. You can control the ads you see in your Meta ad preferences (https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences), opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info, or block and clear cookies in your browser settings.
Children
This site and our books are made for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
